The Marine Science Conference 2015 of the Swedish Society for Marine Sciences will be held in Lund, on 18-20 November 2015. This annual event is open to both researchers and private interestgroups and serves as a great platform to present work and havediscussions on current marine issues.

The Swedish Society for Marine Sciences (Svenskahavsforskningsföreningen, SHF) organises the Swedish Marine Scienceconference (Havsforskningsdagarna) once a year. The conference is aninterdisciplinary marine conference where scientists, officials,consultants, biologists, chemists, oceanographers, engineers andgeologists meet and share their experiences and knowledge during asmall-scale, 2-3 days conference. Anyone who works in Sweden withinmarine research or monitoring, or otherwise take particular interest inquestions concerning our common sea-areas and marine environmentalissues, are welcome to take part in this conference. Participants arewelcome to present their work in the form of an oral presentation orposter, and the SHF-committee also invites some speakers of currentinterests to the conference. In a unique way, the SHF-conferencepresents a selection of the latest research and current projects thatgoes on within Sweden, or with Swedish participants.
