The Danish science park, Agro Business Park, has launched a new website - www.agro-technology-atlas.euIn general, the intention of the website is to provide easy access tovalidated and impartial information, tools and data aboutagro-environmental technologies, hereunder handling, treatment andprocessing of biomass.

The site has been established with financial support from the BalticSea Programme 2007-2013 in connection with the implementation of the EUproject Baltic Compass, and the plan is to publish data and informationhere on an ongoing basis, both originating from Baltic Compass ? andother projects.

The website will gradually be build up during the coming years. Therewere recently published a large number of data sets concerning thequality of livestock manure types as well as qualities of end andby-products from various processing of livestock manure.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
