The Resource and Analysis Center "Society and Environment" (Ukraine) invites to an online event "Shaping the future of the EaP countries: European Green Deal and its impact on environmental policy". The event will be in a form of presentation and discussion of the policy paper "European Green Deal: Shaping the Future of the Eastern Partnership. EaP countries environmental policies in the context of the EGD".

Main issues to be presented:

  • European Green Deal, its goal, and main elements,
  • relationship between European Green Deal, Eastern Partnership and environmental policy,
  • EGD's impact on the environmental policy in six EaP countries,
  • recommendations to key stakeholders.

Theevent will take place on December 4, 10:00-13:00 (Kyiv time, GMT+2). Registration open till December 2, 2020: https://forms.gle/GPmhRCmma5UfSvgS6. English-Russian simultaneous translation will be provided.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
