Coalition Clean Baltic and Ecoterra are pleased to invite you to the Greener Agriculture for a Sustainable Sea - GRASS Conference 2020, which will be held both on site - in Lviv, Ukraine - and online - via Zoom - on 9 October.

The GRASS conference will address different thematic areas related to agricultural practices that aim to improve the state of the Baltic Sea. They will be divided in three main plenaries, followed by panel discussions:

  • Plenary I- Global and regional policy of green agriculture
  • Plenary II - Healthy catering and organic produce food supply for school and pre-schools
  • Plenary III - Climate changes and organic agriculture. Challenges for agro-education

The conference will gather many international speakers and stakeholders,and a simultaneous translation in English will be provided through theZoom platform.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
