Coalition Clean Baltic is glad to share the invitation to the Greener Agriculture for a Sustainable Sea Conference (GRASS 2018), that will be arranged by CCB in Minsk, Belarus on 13-14 December 2018.

Underthe link below you will find provisional programme, practicalities andregistration form. The Conference will address wide range of nationaland international stakeholders (farmers, authorities, academia, NGOs,general public and media) and will focus on the following two thematicblocks:

  • 13 December: Bioeconomy / Circular Economy; nutrientrecycling; nutrient accounting; nutrient sensitive areas; SustainableDevelopment Goals, River Basin Management,
  • 14 December: Organic agriculture, including legal aspects, market support, awareness and education.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
