The Policy Area ?Nutri? in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region in partnership with the Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship have the pleasure to cordially invite you to ?Reducing nutrient inputs to the Baltic Sea ? how to strengthen project partnerships in the region? - Stakeholder Seminar, 14 April 2016, 8.30?16.00, Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship, Gdansk, Poland.

This one day seminar is looking for concrete opportunities to save the Baltic Sea by reducing nutrient loading from scattered settlements and waste water treatment sludge management.

Itbrings together implementers with policy makers and representatives offunding instruments around the Baltic Sea region. The seminar is free ofcharge and meant for anyone interested in project development and possibilities for regional cooperation.

Inspirational speakers will give an overview to cooperation possibilities, policy priorities and funding opportunities. Two panel sessions will give an insight to challenges, best practices and the EUSBSR policy area Nutri activities.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
