Global Change Research Institute CAS (CzechGlobe) in cooperation with the European knowledge and innovation community (EIT Climate-KIC) would like to introduce you to the new international project Climate-Smart Agriculture Hub for Central and Eastern Europe Region.

This project is devoted to improving the agriculture of the region and making it more resilient toward ongoing climate change, as well as strengthening and increasing agriculture production. Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) is defined by the Food and AgricultureOrganization of the United Nations (FAO) as an approach that helps guideactions needed to transform and reorient agricultural systems toeffectively support sustainable development in the agricultural sectorand ensure food security in a changing climate.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
