On Thursday 22nd June 2017 Farms Not Factories will launch a series of 12 videos featuring celebrity chefs and the high welfare farmers who provide their pork.

Whilecooking a delicious pork dish, celebrity chefs wax lyrical about thesignificant difference in taste and texture between pigs that have beenraised in a healthy spacious environment where they can exercise anddevelop their muscles compared to pigs confined in barren overcrowdedcages where they can barely move and have to be routinely givenantibiotics to keep them alive.

SHORT ABOUT THE PROJECT

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea. The project is part-financed by the European Union. This website reflects only the view of the Coalition Clean Baltic.
