Baltic Impulse is acluster of nine environmental projects running under Baltic Sea RegionProgramme 2007-2013. The aim of the cluster is to ensure further use ofoutcomes of the projects and increase their visibility. The cluster,Baltic Impulse, aims also to intensify exchange of experiences and ideasand further development of cooperation through cluster partnerworkshops. The overall theme of discussions is divided to two parallellines:
1. reducing nutrient pollution; prevention of phosphorus and nitrogen leaching, phosphorus recycling
2. environmentally sound management of hazardous substances.

Baltic Impulse will organise workshops around the theme and produce a synthesis report based on the discussions.

The Projects in the cluster are:

Baltic Compass promotes sustainable agriculture inthe Baltic Sea region. The special emphasis is on reducingeutrophication. The project works in five areas; best practices, investment facilitation, water assessment and scenarios and policyadaptation.
