The Baltic Sea Action Plan (BSAP), HELCOM?s strategic programme of actions and measures for a healthier Baltic Sea, is due to be updated by 2021.

The 2020 HELCOM Stakeholder Conference ?For a sustainable Baltic Sea: The Baltic Sea Action Plan beyond 2021? will be held in Helsinki on 3 March 2020, where the Baltic Sea Action Plan will take centre stage. The Conference will be the opportunity to share your views on the update of the BSAP.

The outcomes of the 2020 HELCOM Stakeholder Conference will be brought forward to the 41st Meeting of the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM 41-2020) from 4 to 5 March 2020.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
