On August 1, 2019, the first Belarusian Field Day 2019was held in Vialikaya Bierastavica village, Hrodna region, organised bythe Center for Environmental Solutions with the support of theCoalition Clean Baltic.

Field Day 2019 was held on the territory of the Zdorovaya Strana(Healthy Country) organic farm. The choice of farm is not accidental: itwas this farm that became the winner ofthe national stage of the international competition ?Baltic Sea Farmerof the Year Award 2019?. The topic for the exchange of experience ofspecialists was the technology of growing organic grain, garden andberry crops, which is used by agronomists of the ?Healthy Country? andother advanced farms in Belarus and abroad.

Project Industrial animal farms in the Baltic Sea Region - sustainable practices to reduce nutrient loads is a part of a long-term campaign of the Coalition Clean Baltic and Green Federation "GAJA", aiming to reduce the negative impact of large-scale animal production on the environment and local communities in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly by reducing nutrient run-off into the sea.
